Financial Aid

Students enrolled at TCI are eligible to apply for Federal Aid - Pell Grants and Stafford Loans - and State Aid - TAP for NY residents. 

Tuition Reduction

A special tuition reduction applies to all Shanah Bet students. Other students may apply for tuition reduction based on financial need.

Financial Aid

To be considered for federal or state aid, you must be a matriculated student taking a minimum of six credits per semester, and follow the application steps

The maximum federal award is $5,775 per year. The amount you get depends on financial need, cost of attendance, whether you are a full-time or part-time student and if you plan to attend school of a full academic year or less. The maximum total loans a student may be eligible to borrow in a single academic year cannot exceed the total cost of attendance for the program for that specific year. 

NY residents who are full-time students can apply for state aid. Annual TAP awards can be up to $5,165.

You must re-apply, completing a new financial aid packet, for each year in which you are requesting financial aid.
