Advanced Healthcare Certificate with the Graduate School of Business

Admissions Requirements
You must meet all the Graduate School of Business admissions requirements, including a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Prior to starting the coursework, you will take the online (asynchronous) Graduate Writing Prompt exam. There is no cost for taking this. If your writing score falls below the threshold, you will need to enroll, pay $500, and pass the Graduate Writing Course which will be administered online (asynchronously). This is a pass/fail course and a pre-requisite for the program. No graduate courses in the Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management may be taken simultaneously with the Graduate Writing Course.
You will also need to take a 1-credit, online course, Introduction to HealthCare Finance, MBAN 501, prior to starting the coursework. The cost for this is $725 and is not included in the tuition for the certificate. This is a pass/fail course and a pre-requisite for the program. No graduate courses in the Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management may be taken simultaneously with this course.
The pre-requisite courses for this program begin summer 2022.
Coursework
The advanced certificate is five courses. Two courses in the Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management—MBAN 672 and MBAN 676—will be delivered face-to-face in Israel at the Touro College Israel campus.
The other three courses in the Advanced Certificate in Health Care Management—MBAN670, MBAN 673 and an elective health care course to be approved by the Graduate School of Business—are delivered online/asynchronously by the Touro Graduate School of Business faculty in NY.
When you successfully complete the Certificate in Healthcare Management, you may choose to continue in the master’s program in healthcare management.
Tuition
The program is offered at a significant 30% discount to students in Israel. Based on tuition prices for the 2022-23 year, the cost for the certificate is approximately $7,600, plus administrative fees ($250/ semester). If you decide to pursue a master's at the Graduate School of Business, the same 30% discount will apply. The total cost for the certificate and master's at this discounted rate is around $18k, plus fees.
